THE LIEBSTER AWARD!

Hey guys,

So it’s probably very obvious by now that I have only had this blog for a short week now, and I love love LOVE it. In this short time I have had so much fun writing and posting and getting feedback from you all!

I am loving every aspect of blogging, coming up with post ideas and getting feedback – allowing my mental creative juices to flow! It really is an amazing space for me to just share my thoughts on things and talk about things I am passionate about- like self growth and love, and all that jazz.

As of yesterday I have been in contact with various members of the blogging community, and wow, you’re all so lovely and friendly and I’m so happy and content that this is the community I have begun to immerse myself in. Receiving a nomination for this award in itself just shows how totally AWESOME this community is! I received a Liebster award nomination from Hannah Pask (I’ll tag her blog below), and I cant begin to tell you how grateful I  am for the nomination, especially at such an early stage I am in the blogging process! It only proves how awesome the communityty is, in how everyone wants everyone else to succeed and improve!

THE LIEBSTER AWARD

An amazing award, given out to small/new blogs by other bloggers, again just proving how cool this community is. I think it is amazing that we are all given and now giving the opportunity for other blogs, to be fully recognised.

Hannah says that the official rules request the submissions to be in December 25th, and again I agree with her and her nominator’s belief that everyone deserves a chance, and we may as well help each other to gain the recognition they deserve. If you do wish to accept your nomination then you need to follow the set of rules below:

THE RULES

  1. Thank the person who nominated you and post a link to their blog
  2. Display an image of the award in your post
  3. Write a 150-300 word posy about your favourite blog (that is not your own) and provide a link to the blog
  4. Answer the questions provided by your nominator
  5. Nominate 5-11 blogs
  6. Supply questions for your nominees to answer
  7. share the rules in your post
  8. contact your nominees; let them know they have been nominated for the Liebster Award and provide them with a link to your post

THANK YOUUU

I would like to say huge thank you to Hannah Pask (from thepaskgubbins.wordpress.com ) for nominating me! It means so much! She is a beauty, lifestyle and fashion blogger, which I absolutely love, my three favourite things all in one place, and although I haven’t got a solid blog topic yet, I hope to do something similar. Her photography and evaluation of certain products is amazing, and I will certainly be looking to her blog for more advice regarding makeup and fashion! I want to thank you for nominating me because being that I have only just started and love blogging loads, this nomination is just a plus, and makes me only want to continue and improve!

THE QUESTIONS:

What book have you been putting off reading and why?

The Five People you Meet In Heaven by Mitch Alborn. I have been wanting to read this for ages, I have the book staring at me on my desk right now, but can’t find the time to read it! I want to be able to sit down and read it in a couple of sittings, rather than spread out over a long time.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world where would it be?

It changes daily, but right now I’d love to be in Rio, Brazil. However, yesterday I wanted to be in The Maldives, and who knows, tomorrow I might want to be in the South Pole! Safe to say I’d love to travel the world, rather than somewhere specific.

Why is blogging important to you?

It’s a really good way to get certain, perhaps even quirky, thoughts out. It also I think is a really good platform to talk about things I’m passionate about, sharing my ideas and perhaps even impacting others.

What are your top three life achievements?

wow this one is deep… I think I would say the first and most important being that I have become more confident in myself and the personal growing I have done over the years, is an amazing achievement for me. My second and very meaningful achievement is probably getting up to gold level ice skating! An achievement I will brag about until the age of 87. And finally, I think would have to be passing my GCSE’s and A Level exams despite the rough time I was going through and getting into university!

If you had one day left to live, what would you do?

I would go to Thorpe park with all of my friends and family, and everyone else I love, and have an awesome day with all the people that I love.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world (dead or alive) who? and Why?

Would I be able to say God? because I hold a deep love for my God, and I don’t know I think that really would be an amazing story to tell the grandkids!

What is your favourite animal? and why?

Unicorns, have you seen them? They are awesome!

What fictional place would you most like to go to?

I would absolutely love to go to Neverland!!!!

What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of?

This is a hard one. You see I don’t know if other people haven’t heard of it, but i’ve found it hard to find others who really actually want to have DEEP conversations about like.. history, politics, space, life and stuff.

What do you feel thankful for today?

I am thankful for the gift of friends and family, and the blogging community!

MY NOMINATIONS:

First of all I nominate: Logically Dreaming She is an amazing writer, I have known her since primary school, and her blog is rife with thoughtful and meaningfully written pieces.

I would also like to nominate: Writer at work  She is a creative writing student, who again I have known since Primary School. Her blog filled with her own writing, poems and book reviews. A perfect place to go when winding down before bed and have a read.

The third blog I’d like to nominate is: Devika from insight07 I have been getting email updates regularly since I first tried to start this blog, and I love every one I get! They again post many a poem and their photography is awesome.

The fourth blog I’d like to nominate is: Skyhighaffirmations I only came across this blog the earlier today, but I absolutely love it! The photography and general content is awesome and always keeps me wanting to read more!

and the fifth blog I’d like to nominate is: Jasmin she followed me on twitter today, and again I have only really begun to check out her blog, but I love it! She has an awesome Daily Diary concept on her blog, and I think it is an awesome idea, and for nosy people like me… Its golden. And again, her photography and content are amazing!

QUESTIONS FOR YOU:

If you could be any animal what animal would you be and why?

If your house was on fire, yet you could save 3 items, what would you save and why?

Describe your perfect pizza.

What is your favourite thing about blogging? why?

If you were given the power, would you go forward in time or backwards?

What one piece of advice would you give to your younger self knowing what you do now?

If you could meet a character from your favourite movie who would you meet?

When you were little, what did you want to be when you were older? Is it the same now?

What are you looking forward to most about this year?

Please don’t feel as if you have to take part in this also, I do just love the concept and agree that everyone should help everyone as we grow towards being more and more recognised!

  3. You actually make it seem really easy together with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be actually one thing that I feel I would by no means understand. It seems too complicated and extremely wide for me. I’m looking ahead in your next publish, I’ll try to get the hold of it!
